A good manual for beginnersManual for beginners

I chose this book because i practice Okinawan Goju-Ryu and I sought to find some new information from the son of a style founder. But I only found some different names for techniques that i knew before. Although as I know there are no such a names like "dragon tail" or "Satelite opens a gate" in karate, it's just japanese words for "straight punch", "fore-arm inside out block" etc. So It can be differencies with different teachers.
I founf no advanced techniques either.
And I was little dissappointed by the fact that the book includes no information about some family stories by the author.
Nevertheless the book consist of organized system of goju-Ryu basics and it can be usefull for the beginners who want to learn movements' names and forms (kata).
I would recommend this book for a beginners or Goju-Ryu collectioneers.
