Indispensable Tool for Leaders

Dr. Mary Lippitt is a leadership thought leader and authority. Her book, Brilliant or Blunder, is an invaluable tool for assessing your mindset and the impact it has on your organization, department, team, and your own success.
Through her research and years of consulting with Fortune 500 corporations, not-for-profits, and mid- to small businesses in a variety of industries, Dr. Lippitt had defined six key mindsets: Inventing, Catalyzing, Developing, Performing, Protecting, and Challenging. You will learn how to use these six mindsets in managing conflict, influencing, and aligning others.
If you have found yourself making some mistakes over and over, or your team seems to be getting no where, or worse, your organization is losing market share, it is likely that mindsets are impacting success. A refreshing approach beyond the ordinary books on leadership.

There are thousands of books written on leadership. Unfortunately, many of them are based on many untried, academic theories and are chock-full of widely-used, often quoted platitudes of many a modern-day CEO.
You won't find them in this book.

As Refreshing As It Was Inspiring! Required Reading for the ever-changing leadership landscape..

As Publisher & Executive Editor of a global business information portal, I’ve presided over the editing and publishing of over 11,000 Articles in recent years from across the business spectrum. Unsurprisingly, a large majority of the essays published have been focused on all aspects of leadership – ranging from early stage development through commanding from the C-Suite. Conspicuously absent from the plethora of advice and guidance put forth by any number of “experts” has been recognition of the fundamental need for agility – that is, until I strolled through the pages of Mary’s book. Mary’s insights in this regard were as refreshing as they were inspiring. From my many years of firsthand leadership experience both domestically and internationally, it has been the existence of agility in the face of changing times and circumstances that has consistently separated mediocre leadership from profound leadership. Kudos to Mary for breaking through the "leadership 101 clutter" and raising the bar!
